(Introductory to Dog Grooming)

This course is the first step in learning all about dog grooming. It is perfect for those who are interested in a career in dog grooming. Maybe you are a Dog Walker or run a Kennels and would like to learn how to properly bath, dry, brush and clip nails to offer as an add on service for your business. This 5 day course can also be catered for exsiting groomers who would like to brush up on their skills and learn some time saving tips.
For beginners, this course will include the use of tools of the trade, safe handling, bathing, nail trimming, basic clippering and scissoring techniques. On completion of this course you will know whether you wish to pursue a career in dog grooming or if your new skills are just for your dogs to enjoy. If you wish to continue with your studies and undertake any of our higher level courses, the course cost and time will be deducted from your next training course - must be booked within 5 days of this course completion.
For existing groomers, this 5 day course will cover any breeds you wish to brush up on. You will learn modern techniques that will save you time which will enable you to groom more dogs effectively, earning you more money.
On successful completion of the course you will receive a 5 Day Introductory to Dog Grooming Certificate (See Below).
You can opt for taking part one, two or three day's per week until you have completed your required amount of days.
What can I do after this course? You will be eligible for employment as an Assistant Dog Groomer

Please note: This course does not qualify you as a Full Trained Dog Groomer. To become a Qualified Dog Groomer (to be either employed as or be a self employed Dog Groomer), you would need to take part in and successfully complete the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming Course
