I recently completed the 30 day diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management course in Canine Creations and finished in February 2022. I was very nervous at the beginning of the course but managed to overcome that very quickly with the help of the tutors Cathy and Ela. Cathy and Ela are amazing groomers and are so patient, professional and kind, you never feel as you can’t ask any questions. The time went by so quick, I didn’t want the course to end! I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to gain a qualification in dog grooming or for anyone who has a passion for animal welfare in general, you will truly learn from the best!!

Cathy and Ela are attentive, patient and incredibly knowledgeable and share every bit of wisdom and information with all students — everything from breed styles, the best equipment to get and how to care for them. You’re never left feeling unsure as both tutors are with you every step of the way. I ended up grooming a number of different breeds during my time, dogs of all different ages and temperaments so I felt more than prepared to set up my own business. You also are provided with great resources to help complete the written work that’s needed to get the diploma which I still use today if I ever need a refresher. I now have my own business that would not have been possible without the help from Cathy and Ela who I cannot thank enough for helping me learn and grow in the grooming world. I couldn't recommend them more, I had absolutely no training when I started the help and resources I recieved were 2nd to none!  I highly reccomemd Cathy at Canine Creations. She has a vast knowledge on grooming from breed standards styles to equipment use and maintenance to competing abroad alongside of the world's best groomers. Above all this she has a unique way of explaining and teaching. I have found alot of talented knowledge people but some just don't have the knack for teaching and explaining so that it stays with you. I travelled from Galway to learn from her and found every mile worth it highly reccomend.
