ABOUT THE COURSE:
The iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management is an Internationally Recognised Qualification and is regulated by Ofqual. This iPET qualification is equivalent to the full Level 3 Diploma by City & Guilds and Open College Network (which you may of heard of). The C&G, OCN and iPET Diploma's are all recognised on the European Qualification Framework and are all regulated by Ofqual.
What we like about the iPET Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management: Firstly, unlike the City & Guilds route, there is no need to complete a lower level qualification first. With iPET you can go straight on to the Level 3 Diploma which can be a huge cost saving to students. Secondly, there are no formal exams (another huge cost saving!). Rather than sitting exams, which can be extremely daunting, the iPET route will provide you with worksheets for each module (continual assessment). These questions will be answered throughout your course with full support from us. Thirdly, there are two extra modules of study not seen in other similar courses therefore this qualification is more rounded and robust for those wanting to enter into the Dog Grooming Industry.
Throughout this course you will be trained in practical skills such as; Bathing, Blow Drying, Brushing, Nail Trimming, Scissoring, Clipping and Various Breed Styling. You will be taught how groom a variety of different breeds (Cross Breeds and Pure Breeds). (On average each student grooms 50 dogs during this course). As well as practical training there will be lots of theory explained, discussed and assessed through continual assessment. You will be provided with a detailed handbook which will assist you in completing the various assignments required for the units of this qualification. (see below)
''I recently finished my level 3 diploma in dog grooming with Cathy and I cannot recommend her enough! She is the best groomer to learn from with such extensive knowledge and years of experience behind her. Cathy is lovely and goes completely above and beyond in her teaching, I left feeling completely confident that I was capable of taking on a new career in the grooming industry. While completing the course I had a job already lined up and it wouldn't have happened without the support I received throughout the course with Cathy, again I cant recommend her enough and appreciate all she has done for me over the last few months! I would definitely choose Canine Creations if you're looking to break into the grooming world! ❤🐶🐾''
