Canine Creations Dog Day Spa & Grooming School in Sandyford Village, Dublin, are a an AWARD WINNING training provider delivering an Ofqual Internationally recognised and regulated Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. Cathy Bruen ICMG & team offer a very comfortable and friendly environment with state of the art resources for you to learn your new skill in. Training in a commercial salon will give you a very good insight in to the real world of dog grooming – something colleges can not offer.

Please be careful of 'cheaper courses' out there. They are not properly regulated, internationally recognised or well respected and more often than not are taught by very inexperienced unqualified persons. As they say, you get what you pay for!
Throughout this course you will be trained in practical skills such as; Bathing, Blow Drying, Brushing, Nail Trimming, Scissoring, Clipping, Hand Stripping and Various Breed Styling. You will be taught how to groom a variety of different breeds (Cross Breeds and Pure Breeds). On average each student grooms 50 dogs during this course. This is a great amount of practice and from what we hear, its the most amount of practice you receive from any course in Ireland and the UK.
As well as the fantastic amount of practical training there will be lots of theory explained, discussed and assessed through your assignments. Attend the course Full Time or Part Time - We design an attendance plan based on your requirements!!

Entry requirements: Must be physically fit, 18 years or over, have a good understanding of Leaving Cert level education, be fluent in both spoken and written English and as the assignments are done through an online platform you must have a good knowledge of how to use computers.

At Canine Creations Dog Day Spa & Grooming School, we are mindful of the cost of your training and try to make our courses accessible to all. To help you achieve your new career in Dog Grooming we can deliver the course on a part time basis and offer a 'pay as you go' payment plan.
For example if attending.....
1 day per week you have 6-7 months to pay off the course
2 days per week you have 3-4 months to pay off the course
3 days per week you have 2-3 months to pay off the course
You can choose before the course begins to take a week or two off during the course for holidays etc but please note, your training must be completed within a 12 month period.
